Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Nabil Sharif has said that there is no governmental intention to raise the electricity prices. This reiteration came after the government has added an article to the electricity bill for the different of the petroleum prices.

The minister has declared during the weekly meeting the the addition of such article is related to the fact that the new pricing of electricity has been approved according to the prices of petroleum.
