Despite all the facilities the government provided for the special needs in order to participate in the elections, the numbers of those who decided to vote for their chosen candidates were low and the areas were limited.

Muhannad Al-Azzeh, Takafu’ member and special needs’ member of board off trusties at the National Center for Human Rights, said that the percentage of the participation was not at the expected  level if compared with the previous years.

Dr. Azzeh referred to the fact that many polling stations were not properly equipped with the required tools to facilitate the participation of such category of the society.
