AMMONNEWS - A royal decree is to be issued banning all forms of protests and demonstrations expressing support and loyalty to King Abdullah II, Ammon News learned.

The ban includes waving flags and posting photos of the king during protests and demonstrations.

The decree follows from an impression that such processions of support are undermining the general consensus of loyalty to the King by all movements, political parties, tribes and local organisations - who agree on the legitimacy of the regime and the Hashemites, and his reform vision and progressive position on change since assuming power.
